For breakfast we enjoyed The Local and had their corned beef hash and eggs, just the perfect amount and the tomato it came with was quite flavorful. It is a very nice sit down option opened 24 hours. The Garden Cafe breakfast has everything from cooked to order omelettes, to eggs benedict, to banana pancakes, waffles, etc… and Starbucks coffee. There is a wait for the Starbucks. There is also a regular coffee station, much faster.
Terrific Garden Cafe lunch/dinner buffet with lots of options for just about every appetite. On our sailing, during breakfast they had Italian Food including a pasta bar and pizza, Indian Cuisine with a terrific butter chicken, Asian Food including sushi that was just okay, and American Classics, such as burgers and a terrific Prime Rib at one seating. You name it they pretty much have it there. The desserts were decadent in particular the chocolate cake.
The main dining restaurants Taste and the Manhattan Room were really good! Great service too. The beef in particular was done very well and we enjoyed our Chateaubriand, it was like butter. The scalloped potatoes were quite tasty as well. The filet mignon was also delicious and the mashed potatoes were nice and creamy. The deserts particularly the bread pudding were just the right finish.
We were only able to sample one specialty dining restaurant and Onda was just okay. If inside the noise level is quite high with loud music and conversation. The yellowish tuna appetizer was quite good, fresh and a nice flavor with a hint of a kick. The fried seafood appetizer was good as well but a lot with shrimp, calamari, crab cake, etc… The pasta dishes including the spaghetti were good but not great. The filet was very good with just the right flavor. The service was attentive but slow. The dining room was half full and a long wait between courses. The desserts again were very good. I had the chocolate sea salt and caramel gelato and my boyfriend enjoyed this cheesecake (yes, I had to try it…yum!).
Lots of them! The Waterfront wrap around area of the ship features outdoor bars and restaurants, that are truly made for relaxing or hanging out with friends. Great bar service and on this sailing no wait. The Observation Lounge was definitely a highlight. It is a huge space with panoramic views, comfy chairs, great service. It is a place you can hang out with friends or enjoy a relaxing evening. The District features 50 bottled beers and 22 on draft. They have entertainment too as well as wonderful views of the ocean. The other bars & music venues all offer a little of something for everyone from country music to latin salsa.
Features include: good storage, including under the bed, an average sized Balcony, queen sized bed, which can be split into two beds, a refrigerator, hairdryer (a bit tough to stretch out to use), a sofa, an average sized bathroom with plenty of space for toiletries. Make sure you mind the step when going into/out of the bathroom.
Book ahead of time if possible. They generally hold seats for guests to book upon arrival to the ship but don’t count on it as they do fill up. Great entertainment onboard in particular The Choir of Man is top notch and Kinky Boots is also a terrific show. Comedy acts are featured in The Social Comedy Club. Some other options include The Liverpool Beatles show, Country Hits in the Q Lounge, and an engaging piano player in The District.

Great Stirrup Cay /Private Island
Several food and drink venues. Be aware there is a charge for things on the island, even with the beverage package. Bring a water bottle filled with your cocktail of choice from the ship. There are sit-down restaurants there, a taco bar (good flavor but cold tacos), a buffet style set-up with jerk chicken, hamburgers, (looked good) etc.., lots of food options. The Mandara Spa is awesome and overlooks the water. So you can get a massage in a private room overlooking the beach. There are also Cabanas on the Silver Cove section with their own private lagoon. The water is quite beautiful no matter where you are on the island.
